Gael Monfils has continued his great run of form in 2019 by winning the ATP Rotterdam title. The Frenchman defeated Stan Wawrinka in the final 6-3, 6-4 to claim his first title of the year.

Monfils has now won three titles in the last four months, having also won the Qatar Open and the Open Sud de France. He is currently ranked No. 10 in the world and is one of the favorites for the upcoming French Open.

In the final against Wawrinka, Monfils was in control from the start. He broke Wawrinka's serve in the second game of the match and never looked back. Monfils won the first set 6-3 and then broke Wawrinka's serve again in the first game of the second set.

Wawrinka fought back to break Monfils' serve in the fifth game of the second set, but Monfils broke back immediately and then held his serve to win the match.

Monfils' victory in Rotterdam is a major boost to his confidence ahead of the French Open. He is now one of the favorites for the title and will be looking to add to his two Grand Slam titles.
