Environment Canada issues weather alerts as powerful storms roll through the region
Environment Canada has issued tornado and severe thunderstorm watches for parts of Manitoba and Ontario as powerful storms roll through the region. The watches are in effect for areas including Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, and Morden in Manitoba, and Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, and Fort Frances in Ontario.
The storms are expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and possible hail. Environment Canada is urging people in the affected areas to be prepared for severe weather and to take necessary precautions.
